A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Graphic design has been my passion from a very young age. I was awarded my first freelance project at the age of 16 and was immediately hooked.
Two years into my studies in graphic design, I was offered a three month position at a design agency on the island of Dominica in the Caribbean. I worked with international brands throughout the caribbean and managed the design process for a wide range of industries. I adapted quickly to agency life on the small island, and before I knew it, my three months had turned into six years, and my internship into a creative director position.
I ventured out on my own in 2010 to pursue freelance work with hopes to have more flexibility not only with my time, but also with my creative work. In 2012, I joined my partner at DMG Photography+Design, with our clients mainly consisting of tourism-based and other local businesses on the island of Dominica. Our company was steadily gaining steam until September of 2017 when life threw a curveball our way – Hurricane Maria. After having to leave the island I called home for the past thirteen years, I am back in my home state of California. I am excited to see what new opportunities will arise from this whirlwind change and what creative ventures I will pursue.
